I recently visited Faubourg Montclair with a group of friends to celebrate and enjoy a nice evening together. Overall, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious. We were also impressed by their extensive selection of wines and liquors - definitely a highlight for us. However, our experience was unfortunately overshadowed by a large group of young women who arrived clearly intoxicated. They were extremely loud, taking pictures and laughing disruptively throughout the evening. It felt more like we were at a nightclub than at a fine dining establishment. What made it worse was that the managers seemed to know this group and didn't intervene at all, despite how disruptive their behavior was for other guests. While I understand that celebrations happen, I strongly believe that there should be a standard of decorum in a restaurant like this. Guests come to enjoy good food and pleasant conversation, not to compete with the noise of a rowdy crowd. I sincerely hope the management addresses this in the future, as it detracted from what could have been a perfect evening. The food and drink alone would have warranted a higher rating, but the lack of attention to guest experience brings my rating down. I hope to return and have a more peaceful and enjoyable time next time.

I have been here multiple times and this time solidified an elegant dining experience. The managers, hostess and waiter staff all went above and beyond for us. My fiancée and I were able to take our engagement photos here and they allowed us to use the lounge area as well. Well done and thank you!

Another fabulous meal at Faubourg's Winter menu. Seriously one of my fav places to dine.

I was so surprised that this place is so baby friendly! I was previously here for late night drinks and it's such a different vibe than brunch. Brunch was great, they set up my 8m old with a high chair and crayons - he's a little young for that but it was cute. And he had his own little place mat too. Our server offered to wash his container after I finished feeding him (brought his own baby mush since he's still new to solids). Best service ever! Great ambiance, wasn't too loud and baby loved all the open glass ceiling. French toast was very good, and the crab Benedict was amazing. I am so impressed that it's a great place for drinks at night and so family friendly during the day.

On a busy night we were lucky to get a table w/o a reservation. Thanks to the kind manager he sat our large group and we had fast service for a busy Saturday evening. (I highly recommend you make a reservation this place gets packed.) Faubourg is a beautiful bar&restaurant, and the drinks were great. Great vibe, very trendy, fun place to go for drinks or a sit down meal. The food looked great, I'll definitely be back for dinner soon.

Had a nice brunch here and they had a live jazz band which was a nice touch. This place is very aesthetic. They had a great brunch prix fixe, but I ended up going a la carte because I really wanted the steak and eggs, which also came with spinach and potatoes.

I came here for a dinner date on a Thursday night and it was such a great experience. The Gougeres were so tasty. They were flakey and warm which was a perfect compliment to the cheesey center. The chicken was so tender and literally fell off the bone. The sauce was flavorful and had a good hint of the red wine they used in the sauce. The chickpea was crispy and tasted delicious with the herb aioli. I highly recommend this place!

First time at restaurant. Service was excellent and so was the food. Ordered 3 appetizers to share. There were 3 of us here for a birthday. We ordered the yellow tail, the heirloom tomatoes and the flatbread tart. Enough to share. All of us ordered the Halibut and were not disappointed. Beautiful presentation and flavor was great. The vibe in the place was great. Went on a Friday night and it was busy. Did not feel rushed. Nothing for children. The sever had great recommendations. By the time we left the restaurant was quite loud. Would come back?

Came here to celebrate a birthday and it was a thoroughly enjoyable time! Our server was very knowledgeable on the menu items and extremely helpful. The service was quick without feeling rushed. This was my first time and I was pleased by how nice the inside was, it was spacious and clean. The food was presented beautifully, and mostly tasted great. The appetizers and sides were delicious, the grilled octopus was a favorite. For entrees, I got the branzino which could have used a bit of lemon but was otherwise ok. We got a few sides (mashed potatoes, fingerling potatoes, spinach) to share with the table and those were very good. For dessert, we got the rhubarb creme brulee which was spectacular! The tartness of the rhubarb balanced well with the sweetness of the creme brulee and the caramelized sugar at the top.
